Welcome to my page. I am happy to be a part of the New Market family. I am beginning my tenth year of teaching and I couldn't be happier. I am an Early Childhood teacher who beleives children learn by doing. My experiences include teaching Kindergarten and second grade in Maryland. I have been a Director of an Early Childhood Preschool. I have Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education and a Master's Degree in Reading Education.
In kindergarten your child will not only grow academically but social, emotional and physical growth are just as important. Every child will have opportunities to develop in all areas in order to create a "well-balanced" child. Children who are able to develop in all areas are more confident and are more likely to take risks in learning. They become good problem solvers and better learners.
